Thank you to the La Paz County Health Department for training 6th - 8th Grade students and staff to receive their food handler's card for the school year.

**SCHOOL CLOSED*
The Ehrenberg Community will experience a power outage on Wednesday, September 24th, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. As a result of this outage, school will be canceled for the entire day. Classes will resume on Thursday, September 25th, 2025. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Last Thursday, the Student Council elections were held! Students created campaign posters, wrote speeches, and presented them to grades 3rd - 8th. After the presentations, it was time for voting, and everyone received an "I Voted" sticker! ✔️ There was a tie for the treasurer position, so the two candidates participated in a coin toss to determine the winner. 🏆

📣 Attention Parents and Families:

There will be a volleyball game tomorrow at 3:00 PM! Come out and support our team!

🍿 A concession stand will be available for those who would like refreshments and snacks.

Family Movie night is to follow after the game. Starting at 5:00 PM

Reminder:
All students attending after-school activities who are not part of a sport or club must have parental supervision for the entire duration of the event.
🚫 No student is allowed to be unsupervised.

🎬 Family Movie Night! 🍿 Come support our 8th grade class as they host a Family Movie Night on Wednesday, September 10th at 5:00 PM! ✨ Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase. ✨ Bring the family, relax, and enjoy a midweek movie together! We can’t wait to see you there! 💛🖤

PAACE provides services to youth and families throughout La Paz County. They are currently preparing to launch their Strengthening Families Program in Quartzsite, Arizona, starting on September 11, at the AWC Quartzsite Learning Center. This program is designed for families with youth ages 7–17. Please complete the entrance form and return it to the front office of Ehrenberg Elementary. We are EXCITED to announce that the NED's Resiliency Ride will be visiting our school on Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025!

NED's Resiliency Ride is a character education program that centers around three important messages that have lifelong relevance: Never give up, Encourage others, and Do your best. During the assembly, students will learn about the importance of these three life skills while also enjoying storytelling, magic, humor, and yo-yo tricks.

Students will also have the opportunity to purchase one of NED's yo-yos after the show and until Wednesday, September 10th, 2025. Order forms will be sent home on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025.
