USER AGREEMENT
Terms and Conditions
Acceptable use.
Employees and students of Quartzsite School District Number 4 will use the
service to
support personal
educational objectives within the educational goals and objectives of the
School District.
Inappropriate use may result in cancellation
of use of information services and/or appropriate disciplinary
action. No employee or student will submit,
publish, display, or retrieve materials forbidden by statutes,
laws, or District
policies and regulations.
Personal
responsibility. Each employee and all students will be required to report any
misuse of the
information service to a parent, teacher, or
the system administrator, as appropriate. Each employee
and all students
understand that many services and products are available for a fee and acknowledge the
responsibility for any
expenses incurred without District authorization.
Network
etiquette. All employees and students are expected to abide by the
generally acceptable rules
of network etiquette.
Therefore, they will: Be polite and use
appropriate language. They will not send,
or encourage others to
send, abusive messages.
Respect privacy.
They will not reveal any home addresses or personal phone numbers.
Avoid disruptions.
They will not use the network in any way that would disrupt use by others.
Observe these other
considerations:
1.
Be brief.
2.
Try to use correct spelling and make messages easy to understand.
3.
Use short and descriptive titles for their articles.
4.
Post only to known groups.
Services.
Quartzsite School District #4 specifically denies any responsibility for the
accuracy of information.
While the district will
make an effort to ensure access to proper materials, the user has the ultimate
responsibility
for how the electronic
information service (EIS) is used and bears the risk of reliance on the
information obtained.
Every
employee and student's parents are required to acknowledge and verify by their
signature that they have
read
and understand the above regulations before an employee or student may have
access to the District's
on-line
computers.
